One of the world’s leading suppliers of telephony solutions, Alcatel, has approved the Konftel 200W conference telephone as an official applications product for Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise, which is Alcatel’s PBX solution for large companies. This was announced at Alcatel Forum Enterprise, which took place in Paris 21-23 February. Alcatel Forum Enterprise is an annual fair that attracts major customers and retailers of Alcatel’s switchboards and application products.
“The fact that Konftel 200W has been approved by Alcatel as an official application is an important acknowledgement for our conference telephones,” says Clarence Jacobson, Sales and Marketing Manager at Konftel.
In order to become an approved application, Konftel 200W has undergone meticulous testing in Alcatel’s own laboratory environment. These tests verify the conference telephone’s full functionality alongside Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise, and, as a result, this particular product is now part of the Alcatel Applications Partner Program. Consequently, Konftel 200W is recommended as a conference telephone solution for Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise. The conference telephones Konftel 50 and Konftel 60W have previously also undergone testing and been approved.
Konftel 200W is the market’s first conference telephone for wireless connection to PBX’s with DECT function of GAP standard. This means that you are not dependent on fixed analogue telephone connections to enable efficient telephone conferences. Companies without any DECT support that want to make use of the benefits of the wireless connection can use Konftel’s base station, which connects easily to an analogue socket. Konftel 200W provides crystal-clear sound with full duplex and functions equally well in both small and medium-sized conference rooms.
